When you come to the shop, you’ll talk to a service advisor who will take notes, write up a work order, and forward the information to a technician. While your vehicle is with us, the service advisor will coordinate operations and ensure you understand the work being done on your car.
After one of our technicians takes your vehicle for a test drive, we will put it up on the hoist to do a 32-point safety inspection. We will also use state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to help pinpoint the exact cause of the issue and provide you with an estimate of the cost of repairs.
Our service advisor will clearly explain the parts and labor needed to get your vehicle back on the road. We will make recommendations for service based on your safety and the condition and age of your vehicle, but we will only repair what you authorize us to fix. Based on your needs and budget, we will also help you prioritize services for your vehicle.
After you authorize service, our technicians will start the repair process right away. Your vehicle won’t be left sitting around at Universal Auto Service. If you like, we will document the repair process and save old parts for you to see at any time.
Once repairs done, we will take your vehicle out for a second test drive to ensure our work is correct and complete.
When we’re satisfied with our work, we’ll give you call or send you a text or email to let you know you’re vehicle is ready. When you come to pick up your vehicle, we will review our service with you and provide you with any recommendations for future repairs.
